Ben Nevis and The Great Glen Paintings
Welcome to my gallery of Ben Nevis paintings, including The Great Glen and Loch Laggan. One of my favourite views of the mountain massif is from across Loch Eil as you approach Fort William from Mallaig. I have painted this view in oils from a day when snow still coates the summits of The Nevis range.
As you walk the Great Glen Way after Gairlochy you may be lucky and see the mountain from Clunes Bay, this view I have painted in watercolours and it also includes Nevis Range, travelling further along Loch Lochy towards Laggan I love looking back and seeing the hills rising from the waters and fading into the distance.
The classic view from Corpach at the start of The Caledonian Canal is also available – in this painting in acrylics I have used artistic licence to only include some of the modern equipment now there. A recent addition to this gallery is my watercolour of the The Glenfinnan Viaduct with its grand sweeping curve above Loch Shiel.
I am continually adding new paintings to my site and Ben Nevis is a favourite mountain of mine, that I love to paint. NEW work just added – an oil painting of Winter on The Carn Mor Dearg Arete, an exciting adventure in any weather. All the paintings in this collection are available framed or with just a mount – to enable you to frame yourself.
