An Teallach Paintings

I hope you enjoy my small selection of An Teallach Paintings. The view of the mountain from Loch Droma is a particular favourite of mine and I have captured the fading pink light on my painting. The mountain lies to the southwest of Dundonnell and overlooks Little Loch Broom, in an area often nicknamed the "great wilderness". An Teallach means 'The Anvil' or 'The Forge' in Scottish Gaelic and I have seen it glowing a firey red in the early light of an autumnal dawn. Rising above Loch Toll an Lochan is Corrag Bhuidhe, it's most spectacular feature is an overhanging pinnacle known as Lord Berkeley's Seat. Nature produces some brilliant canvases for me to create my paintings from. NEW Painting just added to this gallery of a summer sunset as the vibrant rays leave the mountain in silhouette showing its distinctive rocky profile.
